Lesson Attachments are the FREE way that you may customize your workers online training experience.
Upload your Universal Precautions Policy attached to the Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) course, or attach your site specific Evacuation Route Map to the Emergency and Fire Preparedness course. You decide what will make the online training content specific and relevant to your workers.
You may attach one or more documents to each Org Course. Workers will be required to launch and certify that they have read each document before being allowed to attempt the test.
To add an OrgCourse Attachment:

At A Glance

  1. Courses Tab --> Add/Edit OrgCourseAttachments
  2. Use the drop down menu to select a single Org.
  3. Click ADD.
  4. A file location field will appear.
  5. Click Choose File, then browse to the file on your computer.
  6. Next to Attachment File is a field where you type in the name of your attachment.
  7. Once named, click Upload.

What you should know about your attachment:

  1. It must be one of these: .jpg .jpeg or .pdf
  2. It must be less than 2MB in size.
  3. It must not contain any of the following characters: 
    • #  %  &  ?  $  @  =  +  *  !
    • {  }  \  /  <  >  '  "  `  |  :  

 

Step By Step

  1. Click on the Courses Tab, then Add/Edit OrgCourse Attachments menu item.
  2. You will see a list of OrgCourses. If you wish to see only a list of courses by Organization, use the drop down to select a single Org.
  3. Click on the ADD button for the OrgCourse for which you want to add a document.



  4. Once you click the ADD button, a file location field will appear, as shown below. 
  5. Click on CHOOSE FILE to browse and find the file on your computer/network.
  6. You may then type the name of your attachment into the Attachment Title field as you would like it to appear as a section of the course to which you are attaching the document. 
  7. Click Upload.




You will then see the document attached to the OrgCourse. You may add another document by repeating the process, or you may Delete the document.


As soon as you upload the document, any workers currently enrolled in the course and not yet complete will have the new item appear on their Lesson Menu. The item (lesson section) will be marked as Required (indicated by the exclamation point), meaning they will have to launch it and acknowledge it before they may proceed to the course exam.
Details on the types of files you may upload are listed below.
Attachment Requirements for file uploads:
  1. Uploaded file must be of the file type JPG, JPEG, or PDF.
  2. Uploaded file must be less than 2 MB in size.
  3. Uploaded file name must not contain any illegal characters:
